Role and Responsibilities

The Assistant Business Development Manager role is to ensure smooth and professional Marketing, Sales and after sales operations are carried out. Generating leads and following up proposals along with providing high standard customer service.

Must follow and ensure compliance with company policy and procedure for processing of / delivery of assigned services.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages sourcing, transportation and loading of material in line with the project’s specifications
  • Control the stocks and prepare relevant reports and work closely with Accounts Department to ensure stock compliance as per the books
  • Familiar with customs and Ministry of Economy procedures to carry out export documentation. Processing certificate of origin, customs clearance and all other export related documents
  • Takes care of the sales related operations (cargo preparation, shipping schedule, test reports, necessary payment, etc..)
  • Supervise material quality and take corrective actions such as engaging 3rd party labs or suspending deliveries to maintain high quality product
  • Find new sales leads and gather relevant information and utilize it to generate sales opportunities
  • Drafting contracts in line with the company’s formats
  • Send and follow up quotations
  • Update digital marketing platforms
  • Maintain up to date CRM database
  • Provide customer support
  • Prepare sourcing and shipping plans
  • Develop the division’s ISO procedure in accordance to the company’s HSE department
